Please note, the detour and longer way around will add approx a half hour to your travel time, so you will need to plan accordingly in order to be on time for the class. You should arrive @ 8:30 so class can begin promptly at 9am.
From the Hardwick/Woodbury area:
Take Route 15 east to the junction of Route 16 – which you’ll see begins on your left, after a series of ‘S’ curves.
Take the left onto Route 16 north, and there’s a church on the corner of Route 16 on your right as soon as you turn onto Route 16.
Watch for the East Hardwick Mini-Mart on your left (the name may be slightly different, but it’s the only mini-mart with gas pumps on your left after about a mile or so up Route 16.
Go slightly past the Mini-Mart and take your very first right turn off of Route 16 onto the blacktop road. This is the Coles Pond Road.
Note: it will change to from blacktop to gravel and the name will change to the Noyestar Road at the Hardwick/Walden town line.
Stay straight on the Noyestar Road all the way til the end – you’ll see a white Methodist Church on your right just before the intersection with Route 15 again.
When you see the Church, slow down, as you’ll be taking a left turn onto Maple Lane just before the blacktop.
Once on Maple Lane – your training will be just up the road on the right.
From the Barton/Glover area:
Take Route 16 south through Greensboro, and past the turns for Greensboro Bend.
You’ll then see a big dairy farm on your left, with farm activities on both sides of the road.
Watch for little signs that say “scoop shop about 1 mile ahead” (that’s at the Mini Mart that’s mentioned above).
Before you get to the mini-mart, you’ll cross the Lamoille River on a very short bridge with the rail-trail there.
Take the immediate left after you cross the river, that’s the Coles Pond Road and follow directions mentioned above.
If you get to the Mini-Mart, turn around and follow directions mentioned above.
